Does Wanner Investment Group offer financing?  Expand
No. We are not an investment fund or a financial institution. Wanner Investment Group is a business management consulting firm dedicated to evaluate projects that are viable and present them to our business partners who have the ability to finance the projects.
How long does it take to approve projects? Expand
The submitted projects are sent to an evaluation committee, which within 2 weeks usually gives us an answer on whether or not it is of interest to the investment fund and has initial viability.
What are the minimum funding amounts? Expand
Our current active programs are included below:
The minimum for the 100% Equity Program is $40 million dollars.
The minimum for the XL Program is $100 million dollars.
Do the investment companies fund Start-Ups? Expand
The investment company’s goals aren’t currently focused on financing companies in their initial stages.
What is the commission you charge when you successfully close a project? Expand
The commission is defined according to the program that the client applies for and varies according to the type of project and country.
Can projects from all continents be presented to them or are there restrictions? Expand
Our main focus is Latin America and Spanish-speaking countries. Countries that do not apply: Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua and Honduras.
Is there a cost for your consulting services and project evaluation? Expand
Our business consulting services are success fee based and we do not charge for project evaluation and analysis to see if they meet the profile the investment companies are looking for.
How long does the whole process take? Expand
Approximately 3 to 5 months, but it all depends on the type of program that the client applies for. In some cases it could be less.
What is due diligence, why do I need it, and how much does it cost? Expand
The Due Diligence process is a formal investigation of the company applying for financing on its financial, organizational, and operational information prior to the project funds being disbursed. When making a Due Diligence payment for the XL Program, this is made directly to the external institution that will be contracted to carry out this service and its cost varies according to the type of financing, country, and project niche.
Am I required to present project guarantees? Expand
Yes, all applicant companies must have guarantees including property, purchase contracts, policies, etc.
Can I submit more than one project from my company? Expand
Of course! However, each project will be evaluated individually.
Which is more convenient, Equity or Financing? Expand
It depends on what the customer is looking for. In Equity, the Investment Fund acts as a partner that contributes the required capital/funds in exchange for shares of the company. For Financing, a loan is requested where the client remains the total owner of the project.
Can I evaluate my project with different consultants at the same time that I am evaluating with Wanner Investment Group? Expand
Yes.
Do you pay commissions for referring a project? Expand
Yes. There is a referral commission, not a percentage of the negotiated fee.
Which country do the funds or capital come from? Expand
Generally, the funds come from the capital manager who manages them from European countries such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom or Germany. For the XL Program, funding is likely to come from the United States and Switzerland.
What company profiles are investors interested in? Expand
The capital managers, investors, and investment funds are looking for established companies with financial stability that have ample experience in developing similar projects. The stronger a company is, the more interest they will manifest in your project.
